MEng Mechanical Engineering. Mountain bike innovation consultant.
Inspired by watching Danny MacAskill and The Clan stunt team, I began mountain biking in 2010. Since then, I have been continually building, breaking, and racing bikes in multiple disciplines. My racing career has been focussed on road and gravel cycling (I tend to hit trees when racing mountain bikes) and it has taken me all over Europe. From 4:30am pasta and espresso breakfasts before Italian National Road Races to Flanders’ fields for the European Gravel Championships and the vineyards of the Prosecco Hills for the Gravel World Championships in Veneto.
Although I have spent a lot of time on skinny tyres, mountain biking has always kept cycling fun and not too sensible, and I will forever love building jumps and doing skids.
