Knowledge Transfer Partnership - Trash Free Trails

Delighted to finally share news of our new Knowledge Transfer Partnership between Edinburgh Napier University and Trash Free Trails, supported by Innovate UK. Prof Tom Campbell has been working towards this KTP, in partnership with Trash Free Trails with the assistance of Edinburgh Napier's Research Innovation and Enterprise for more than 12 months and the successful application is reward for all of the hard work.

Prof Tom Campbell notes that "This project marks a significant step in our efforts to evidence and enhance the positive impact of trails on people, places and the planet. Building on our growing body of international, industry-facing research, we aim to advance understanding of how participatory trail stewardship, involving trail cleans and citizen science, promotes wellbeing, pro-environmental behaviour and community connection."
