Since 2014 the Mountain Bike Centre of Scotland has worked with businesses providing consultancy, on bike testing, research and evaluation services to the cycling industry from our base in the South of Scotland. We are excited to move towards the new phase of our project developing the Mountain Bike Innovation Centre.
Edinburgh Napier University with South of Scotland Enterprise and Scottish Borders Council, with funding from the Borderlands Inclusive Growth Deal, are transforming Caerlee Mill in Innerleithen into the new Mountain Bike Innovation Centre which will offer new teaching and research opportunities, as well as supporting businesses to develop innovative products and services.
Powered by a unique partnership between Edinburgh Napier University and South of Scotland Enterprise, the Scottish Mountain Bike Innovation Centre will put the South of Scotland on the global map — fusing cutting-edge research, business innovation, and community growth at the heart of mountain biking.
